Sound familiar? People who want to de-base our history claim that the founding fathers never foresaw the technological advances of today that nullify our founding rights under the Constitution and Bill of Rights, but listen to the words of these great men. Look at their accomplishments in science, art, agriculture, and manufacturing and see that we are merely standing on the shoulders of their accomplishments. They understood mankind and our nature and they fore saw what we would become. And, they gave us guidelines to follow to keep our republic and its liberties, but they also warned of what happen if we became distracted and lazy. This quote underscores our current situation. We must awaken as many American Citizens as we can to rally to the defense of our nation and our future. Can you hear Paul Revere’s cry even today?

This has been a banner week! Not only were SOPA and PIPA stopped and shelved by the American people getting involved and pressuring congress, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that no government agency can place a GPS tracking device on or in your vehicle without a valid warrant. This is amazing! Even the leftist judges saw the wrong in that! We have to keep the pressure on our government because they will try to sneak these back into play, that is what they do. Our elected officials are not upholding the constitution, when they think they can take more of our rights away, they will try. I, and many of you, swore to defend the constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It would appear that there more domestic enemies than foreign ones, particularly in the federal government. And I have to agree with Ron Paul to a degree that we would not have as many foreign enemies if we would mind our own business, God knows that we have enough to do here to keep us busy. But that is for another day, in the mean time celebrate the victories and prepare for the next battles!

Simo Häyhä (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsimɔ ˈhæy̯hæ]) (December 17, 1905 – April 1, 2002), nicknamed “White Death” (Russian: Белая смерть, Belaya Smert; Finnish: valkoinen kuolema; Swedish: den vita döden) by the Red Army, was a Finnish sniper. Using a modified Mosin–Nagant in the Winter War, he has the highest recorded number of confirmed sniper kills – 505 – in any major war.^[2]

Early life

Häyhä was born in the municipalityof Rautjärvi near the present-day border of Finland and Russia, and started his military service in 1925. Before entering combat, Häyhä was a farmer and a hunter. At the age of 17, he joined the Finnish militia suojeluskunta and succeeded with his sniping skills in shooting sports in the Viipuri province. His farmhouse was reportedly full of trophies for marksmanship.^[3]

Winter War service

It was during the Winter War (1939–1940), between Finland and the Soviet Union, that he began his duty as a sniper and fought for the Finnish Army against the Red Army. In temperatures between −40 and −20 degrees Celsius, dressed completely in white camouflage, Häyhä was credited with 505 confirmed kills of Soviet soldiers.^[2][4] A daily account of the kills at Kollaa was conducted for the Finnish snipers. Besides his sniper kills, Häyhä was also credited with over 200 kills with a Suomi KP/-31 submachine gun.^[4] Remarkably, all of Häyhä’s kills were accomplished in fewer than 100 days at a time of year with very short hours of daylight.^[5][6][7]

Häyhä used a Finnish militia variant, White Guard M/28 “Pystykorva” or “Spitz”, of the Russian Mosin-Nagant rifle, because it suited his small frame (5 ft 3 in/1.60 m). He preferred to use iron sights rather than telescopic sights to present a smaller target (the sniper must raise his head higher when using a telescopic sight), for more reliable visibility (a telescopic sight’s glass can fog up easily in cold weather), and aid concealment (sunlight glare in telescopic sight lenses can reveal a sniper’s position). Another tactic used by Häyhä was to compact the snow in front of him so that the shot would not disturb the snow and reveal his position.^{[citation needed]} He also kept snow in his mouth, so that the vapor of his breath would not give him away.^{[citation needed]}

The Soviets tried several ploys to get rid of him, including counter-snipers and artillery strikes. On March 6, 1940, Häyhä was shot in the lower left jaw by a Russian soldier during combat. The bullet tumbled upon impact and exited his head. He was picked up by fellow soldiers who said “half his head was missing”, but he was not dead: he regained consciousness on March 13, the day peace was declared. Shortly after the war Häyhä was promoted from alikersantti (corporal) to Second Lieutenant by Field Marshal Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim; no one else has gained rank so quickly in Finland’s military history.

Later life

It took several years for Häyhä to recuperate from his wound. The bullet had crushed his jaw and blown off his left cheek. Nonetheless, he made a full recovery and became a successful moose hunter and dog breeder after World War II, and hunted with Finnish president Urho Kekkonen.

When asked in 1998 how he had become such a good shooter, he answered, “practice.” When asked if he regretted killing so many people, he said “I did what I was told to as well as I could.” Simo Häyhä spent his last years in Ruokolahti, a small village located in southeasternFinland, near the Russian border.

The Republicans Are Self-destructing

The republicans are apparently once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. In what should have been easily the greatest landslide victory since 1980, the republicans are floundering. The establishment Republican Party ran off, with democrat help, the best man for the job of president, Herman Cain, and now is turning their attention to the one candidate who has been consistently constitutional for decades, Ron Paul. It reminds me of Theodore Roosevelt being hung out to dry by the republican establishment and the sabotage of Barry Goldwater. And the people who invoke the name of Reagan are the same ilk who opposed him being the nominee in 1980 and who, when the people chose him, saddled Reagan with George H.W. Bush as a running mate. Strange how there were two assassination attempts on Pres. Reagan, which would have left Bush as president. But now the candidates are ignoring Reagan’s 11th commandment, Thou shalt not speak ill of another republican. To make matters worse they are making outrageous statements which will drive independent minded voters away from the polls or to vote for Obama, again, in protest of what the republicans are saying and doing. The politicians who are proposing passing legislation to declare theUSA a Christian nation are completely ignorant of the First Amendment and its history. I am a Christian but this country was founded by religious refugees from the oppressive Church of England. The First Amendment guarantees freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. If you want to be Anglican, ok; if you want to be evangelical, ok; if you want to be Jewish, ok; if you want to be Muslim, ok; if you want to be atheist, ok. What you can’t do is to force your beliefs onto someone else, which the atheists, with much democrat help, have been doing for decades. The first amendment does not allow restriction on religion nor does it allow the establishment of a state religion. Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and needs to return to these to return to prosperity, but this cannot be legislated. A relationship with GOD is personal and cannot be dictated, nor should it be used for worldly gain. This is what is forcing away independent voters. If someone is calling Obama a socialist, which he is, and then advocating controlling your life to the point of religion, what is the difference? The republicans need to listen to the Tea Party, which is a reflection of the beliefs of Thomas Jefferson, one of our greatest founding fathers and presidents, and the republicans need to grow a set and step up to stand up for what made our country great. Less government, not more, securing our borders, trashing the punitive tax code which forced so many jobs overseas, return to an industrial economy (like Germany, which is the strongest economy in Europe) and take care of our business without worrying about bringing the rest of the world with us. We can’t fix anything overseas if we are broken at home.

When Obama Gets Re-Elected…..

When Obama gets re-elected a number of people will need to have a personal security detachment for themselves and their families. The OWS will believe that they have free rein to do whatever to whomever they deem to be in the 1% and, as we have seen, the police will be slow to do anything about the OWS crimes. Also, in typical Bolshevik fashion, the political opponents have a tendency to simply disappear. People who should have this security include but are not limited to: Wayne LaPierre, Executive Vice President NRA, Senator H.L. Richardson, Founder and Chairman of Gun Owners of America, Charles Heller, Executive Director Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, Alan M. Gottlieb, founder and vice president Second Amendment Foundation, the Reverend Kenneth Blanchard, Black Man with a Gun author and gun rights advocate, Jim Gilchrist – Minuteman Founder. The list includes any one who has vocally opposed the agenda of the Obama regime and any member of any of the above groups. This sounds dark and unbelievable, but in 1933 it was unbelievable to European Jews that they would be annihilated. We have historic precedent to learn from. Prepare NOW for the worst while working to prevent it from coming to pass. It is like insurance, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

The Professional Liars

The professional liars of the political class have forced out the only candidate worth voting for in this presidential election. Yes, I believe Herman Cain when he says it is all false and un-true. Look at his record, at his life, at what he has done all his life. Look at his family, a true American family full of success stories. Success comes from struggle and the left has always wanted people to forget that fact. The democrats fear Cain because he can beat Obama and the republicans fear Cain because he, like Teddy Roosevelt, is not a ‘party’ republican. Both are Americans and that is what we need as president, a true American, we haven’t had one since Reagan. Cain would have been a good one. Now we are stuck with the same old political hacks trying to un-seat an effective blame deflector, the best sinceClinton. When Obama is re-elected, you will think back and curse yourself for not standing up for Cain and insisting that he be the republican candidate and defeat Obama, but then it will be too late.

Fingerprints of Rahm Emanuel

The sex scandal aimed at Herman Cain has the fingerprints of Rahm Emanuel all over it. This is typical of the democrat/leftist school of tactics: when you can’t attack on facts, attack on innuendo. This was designed to prevent Cain from being the GOP nominee because Cain can beat Obama, and is problably the only one of the candidates who can. The independents who put Obama in the White House are not swayed by these attacks any more than they were when they put Clinton in office over Bush.

Obama Leftists Attack Middle Class America

Obama and the leftists attack the middle class while claiming to be working for them. Legislation and proposed legislation by this regime have been harmful to the financial and emotional status of the middle class. To quote that great progressive portrayed from Argentina, Evita: “Screw the middle classes…” The left realize that their base , the welfare class, cannot be relied upon to do the long work of over throwing a society. They also realize that the American middle class is the strength of this country. So to destroy the country you first have to bring the middle class into submission or coerce them into being complicit in the destruction of society. (Think Tet Offensive, from Giap’s point of view) If you reduce the economy and society to banana republic status then it is far easier to move the middle class onto your side. Basic communist theory in practice. And lie big, lie always and eventually the people will believe you. It worked in Russia in 1917, Germany in the 1920′s and 1930′s; China, Cuba, and Nicaragua all fell for the same tactics and the US is following that fatal path. The government is attacking the liberties of the people while claiming to be working for their benefit and security. Leftists in both democrat and republican parties are involved as both want to subjugate the American people and exploit their skills and abilities for their own aggrandisement, for their own power. We are seeing Atlas Shrugged being lived out and in our country. That leads to the question, who is John Galt?

“Pro-Life” Advocates Sabotage the Republican Party

Are you people for real? Do you realize that you are handing the White House back to Obama? By applying the anti-abortion litmus test to republican contenders, you ostracize the people who put republicans in the majority position in the House of Representatives. There are not enough radical Phelps-like Baptists to send a majority of republicans to the House. There are definitely not enough to un-seat Obama next year and you people are forcing the middle of the road moderates and fiscal conservatives to either sit out the presidential election or to vote for Obama, as in 2008. I fully expect Obama to be re-elected because of the tepid selection of candidates that the republicans have fielded, but when Herman Cain began to gain strength and show real leadership, you people do Obama’s dirty work by ambushing him in Iowa. Talk about the gang that can’t shoot straight, you shoot the people you claim to be helping. When Obama and his Occupy Wall Street crowd of hooligans are returned to the White House, I don’t want to hear any of you complaining, because you are a huge reason for his success by hanging the albatross of abortion around the necks of the republicans, once again. If you think that Obama’s first term is bad, you haven’t seen anything yet. At least not north of the US border.
